Abstract

Main aim of this research is to determine schools’ standing in shaping the factor of discrimination that’s been tried to be removed by different legal regulations. For this context, it’s been aimed to present the experience of discrimination and stereotype of control group through educational life from elementary school to college life. According to this direction, research’s methods has been determined as phenomenological research. Trying to describe meaning of experiences of many individuals about a specific concept or a phenomena of phenomenological research which moves experience-based had a great influence on this decision. Ten of teacher trainees from both of social studies and geography department (cumulative 20) has been interviewed deeply so to collect the data of research. The data gathered has been handled by using phenomenological method of analysing and presented. By our research it’s been determined main focus for experiences of participators about stereotype and discrimination is often teachers and according to this perspective, advises had been given.
