These geographical terms may be derived by making a scientific definition of the various words between the people, or by deriving the concepts that are not occupied by the people for various reasons to be covered by the words on the main axis. In this study on the local geographical terms, 65 geographical terrains evaluated as having low level of awareness level on the level of the province with no standardized area at the end of the field survey in the villages connected to the Yerköy district of Yozgat were shown and their place names were shown. In the direction of the information obtained from local people and dictionaries, the meaning frames of these geographical terms have been tried to be determined and explained.
