Abstract

The all fields of the performance studies, especially cultural and artful performances, take an important place on the Historical Musicology and Ethnomusicology. Performance styles are studied on under the title of performance practice and Performances theories in music are studied especially at that field. Those studies are popular at the historical musicology. They based on the restructured and reperformed of the European Classical Music with the reference of the especially manuscripts and iconographical sources. The studies started that the pieces written on the notation systems on the manuscripts such as Mecmua-yı Saz ü Söz by Ali Ufki and Kitabu 'İlm'l Musiki 'ala vechi'l-Hurufat by Dimitrie Cantemir from the 17th and 18th century. In this studies, evaluated the music ensembles are reperformed music from that centuries with reference to the performance practice theories at the musicology area.
