Abstract

Social work is a discipline and profession that plays an active role in revealing the power of individuals, and that strives for the socio-economic and psychological well-being of individuals, families, groups and society. Social work seeks solutions to the problems of individuals, examining the causes of this problem with a number of theories and approaches, as a result of this, makes inferences to create, implement and follow the intervention plan. When we examine the cases of social work science and occupation, we see that each case is unique; and as a result, it is necessary that each case should be dealt with different theories and approaches within itself. From this point of view, this study, carried out by the literature survey method, will be introduced with a solution-focused approach, which is frequently used in the field of Psychology, but has not found enough space in the social work literature. In addition, a fictional case will be explained on how it can be used in social work, especially on children and adolescents.
