Abstract

During the First World War (between July 28, 1914 and November 11, 1918) a newspaper was published in the name of "Işık Newspaper" in the prison camp in Egypt (Hicri) on 5. 4. 35, Miladi: January 29, 1917. "Sahib-i İmtiyaz Orhan Kemal" signed sentence-We greet our esteemed friends and all readers who support us and show interest for publishing our journal- was published in the first issue of the newspaper. There were various topics in every issue of the journal: "Sociology", "Important News", "Latest News" were available in almost every issue. In addition, there are ten poems besides "Şundan Bundan", "Riddle", "Fiske", "For Progress", "Enin", "Muhavere", "Temaşa", "Thank" and "Announcements". These poems took into account the issue of 3, 11, 13, 14, 46, 55, 64, 70, 85 and 9.
