Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the French education scale by idioms enriched with four basic skills. In this research, French idioms related to body were taught. The sample of this study was composed of 200 university students. As data collection tools, a 8-item Personal Information Form and a 15-item "French Education Scale with Idioms Supported by Four Basic Language Skills", developed by the researcher, were used. The reliability analyses of the above-mentioned scale were performed with the SPSS 22.0 package program. Cronbach's alpha was performed to test reliability dimensions of the scale. In conclusion, it is determined that the scale used is reliable.
