Abstract

The source of organizational stress comprises the working conditions of the employee; and strain, pressure or silence in his\her status and working environment. The stress causes the employee to experience physical and psychological problems, causes permanent illnesses. This thesis’s research conducted with the employees who work in LCW stores of Pendik, Kartal and Tuzla, in Istanbul, aims to define how these employees deal with the organizational stress. The research data was obtained from the questionnaires applied to 300 employees. The data of the study were analyzed by SPSS package program 22.0. Statistical analyzes relevant to T-test, ANOVA and factor analysis were used. The findings of the research show employees’ attitudes for organizational stress differ according to the demographic variables. Consequently, it has been tried to show that the attitudes of the employees towards the methods dealing with organizational stress vary due to demographic variables.
