THE PERSIAN SUFFIXES IN KYRGYZ LANGUAGE AND THEIR FUNCTION

Abstract

As it known, Kyrgyz Turks are considered to be as one of the ancient tribes of Turkish origin. According to the historical resources it's name was first commemorated and had gained a lot of victories in the history of Turks. Present Kyrgyz Turkish constitutes a northwest Kipchak group. In the history of Turks Kipchak Turks are spread over a wide area. Some affixes taken from Persian are present in contemporary Kyrgyz Turkish. And these affixes are widely used in today's standard Kyrgyz Turkish. Apart from these, Persian language influence is also noticed in the contemporary Turkish dialect. However, these Persian elements in Kyrgyz Turkish have undergone various changes in terms of phonetics. Eventhough we didn't have tight relationship with Iran and Arabs, we had material and spiritual relationship with neighboring us countries. They were built particularly with the political and commercial purposes. And as a result of these relationships we can notice how these interactions had an influence on our daily language use. That's why, there are some language elements adopted from Persian and Arabic in Tajik, Uzbek and Turkistan (Uygur) languages. This study have examined Persian imperative forms in Kyrgyz Turkish
