In this context, first of all we give a brief information about the psychoanalytic literary theory which we will use in our work, and then we examine the story of Ara Guler's "We will live after Babel". The story writing of Ara Güler, which was determined to have creative personality characteristics according to psychoanalytic literary theory, were examined by the qualities such as the repetitions in the story, the characteristics of the writer's mastery of photography, time and space ambiguity, intertextuality and frequent inclusion of the reader on the text. This story, written after the Second World War, the narrator who became each of the people scattered all over the world with the fall of the Tower of Babel, emphasizes the unchanging one is death and destruction.
