Abstract
İmza, bir yazılı anlatım ürünü ve bir kimlik sembolüdür. Yazının karakteristik ve estetik özelliklerinin kritik yaş dönemlerinde değişim göstermesi gibi imza da değişmeyen karakteristik özelliklere sahip olması bakımından kişilik yansımasının bir boyutudur. Bu çalışmada ilköğretim öğrencilerinin imza atma alışkanlıklarını tespit etmek amaçlanmış, bu amaçla Türkiye’nin 7 bölgesinden birer okul belirlenerek “İmza Alışkanlıklarını Değerlendirme Formu”, belirlenen okullardaki öğrencilere uygulanmıştır. 600 ilköğretim öğrencisinin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilen çalışma sonucunda elde edilen veriler, imza becerisinin özellikle Türkçe derslerinde bir kazanım olarak ele alınmasının gerekliliğini ortaya koymuştur.

Abstract
Signature is a work of written expression and also a symbol for the identity of a person. Just like the characteristics and the aesthetics of the writing style of a person can be various in the critical age period, signature is also a reflection of the personality in terms of unchanging characteristics of a person. In this study, it is aimed to identify the signature habits of primary school students, and for this purpose, one school from each per 7 regions of Turkey was chosen and "Signature Habits Evaluation Form" was administered to students studying at these specific schools. This research was conducted with the participation of 600 primary school students, and the obtained data addressed the necessity of teaching the signature as a separate skill in Turkish courses as an objective of the course.
