Abstract
DISEASE AND THE THERAPEUTIC COURSE: FORMS AND PRACTICES OF RESILIENCE OF USERS OF COCODY CHU FACING THE REGULATIONS OF THE MEDICAL PRESCRIPTION
This study examines in the therapeutic range of users of the University Hospital Center of Cocody (CHU), forms and practices of resilience to the regulations of the medical prescription. Decades of successive crises in Côte d'Ivoire that have resulted in high cost of living and increased poverty rate, many households can not afford to care adequate health care, let alone to pay the entire prescribed medical prescription after a medical consultation in the university hospitals of the country. In this situation, this study focused its attention on the users of care offers of the general medicine of the University Hospital of Cocody. The survey conducted indicates the production of practices of adaptation, lowering and control of the cost of the medical prescription. In other words, the users of the Department of General Medicine deconstruct the prescription of the medical prescription by establishing a process of settlement of the cost of the latter by practices both at risk and strategic.
