Abstract

One of the factors that affects organizations’ reaching their goals in the environment of competition experienced in the world of business is the organizational culture that forms from collective attitudes and behaviors. The innovation of processes that contributes to the competitive strength of organizations expresses the revelation of processes that help products be produced cheaper, with better quality, and faster. Just like organizations affect many activities, organizational culture is important from the perspective of inhibiting or encouraging the activities of organizations that relate to the innovation of processes. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect that the dimensions of vision, participation, consistency, and compliance of organizational culture that Denison developed have over the innovation of processes. The data were acquired as a result of a survey study with 245 organizational directors in the organized industrial zones (the 1st, 3rd, and 4th zones) in Gaziantep province. A total of 245 questionnaires were evaluated, and the frequency distributions and multiple linear regression analyses were drawn on in the evaluation of the data. As a result of the research, while it was being determined that the dimensions of participation, consistency, and compliance of organizational culture have a positive effect over the innovation of processes, it was found that the dimension of vision does not have an effect over the innovation of processes.
