Abstract

Today, due to the changing conditions of life, consumer demands and preferences, the importance of online shopping is increasing. At this point, consumer involvement of online shopping in influenced by several factors. In this research, the impact of website quality -which is one of these factors- on consumer involvement level of online shopping has been examined. The research has been done on working women in Sivas. In the research, website features was studied in five dimensions as design, content, security, visual and interaction, and consumer involvement was studied in five dimensions as interest, pleasure, symbolic, possibility and importance of risk. In addition, the effect of web page assessments on online shopping involvement were analyzed according to demographics and internet usage habits. The survey results revealed that the website features affect consumer involvement of online shopping at certain levels. It determined that design and security features of website are the most effective ones on online shopping involvement.
