Abstract
Aydınlanma Çağı’yla birlikte insan; aklı, bilimin ve gözlemin de katkılarıyla çağın tanrısı ilan etmiştir. İnsanın ve aklın yüceltilmesi, teknolojik gelişmeler, insanı çevre merkezli bakış açısından uzaklaştırmıştır. Sanayi Devrimi’nin de gerçekleşmesiyle insan, doğa üzerindeki hakimiyetini pekiştirmiştir. Kendini doğadan bağımsız gören insan, doğayı sömürülecek bir hammadde seviyesine indirgemiştir. Ekoeleştiri edebi eserleri çevreci bir bakış açısıyla ele alıp değerlendirmektedir. Canlı ve cansız varlıkların edebi metinlerde nasıl anlatıldıkları ekoeleştirinin odaklandığı meselelerden biridir. Bu çalışmada Buket Uzuner’in romanları ekoeleştirel bakış açısıyla değerlendirilecektir. Uyumsuz Defne Kaman’ın Maceraları Su ve Uyumsuz Defne Kaman’ın Maceraları Toprak romanları çevre ve edebiyat ilişkisini örneklendiren eserlerdir. Her iki romanda da Şamanizm üzerinde durulmakta Türk insanının değişen doğa ve kadın algısına yer verilmektedir. Çalışmada üzerinde durulacak bir diğer konu da Şamanizm ve çevreci eleştirinin ortak yönleridir.

Abstract
With the age of enlightenment, humankind has declared the mind as the god of the age with the contributions of science and observation. The exaltation of humanity and intelligence, technological developments, has taken the humankind away from an environment-centered perspective. With the Industrial Revolution, humankind has strenghened his domination over nature. Humankind that consider himself independent from the nature, has turned nature into a stock which can be exploited. Eco-criticism literary texts are evaluated and dealed by an environmentalist point of view. One of the issue that eco-criticism deals, is how living and non-living assets is expressed in literary texts. In this study Buket Uzuner’s novels will be evaluated by an eco-criticism point of view. Uyumsuz Defne Kaman’s Adventures Water and Uyumsuz Defne Kaman’s Adventures Soil, are novels that exemplify the environment and literay relation. Shamanism is emphasized in both novels and the changing nature and woman perception of the Turkish people are given. Another issue to be emphasized in the study is the common aspects of shamanism and environmental criticism.
