Abstract
Tekstil ve hazır giyim sektörü dünyanın en eski sanayi dallarından biridir. Tekstil ve hazır giyim sektörü istihdam, katma değer ve ihracattaki payı nedeniyle ekonomik kalkınma sürecinde önemli rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın esas amacı, tekstil ve hazır giyim sektörünün dış ticaret yapısını analiz etmektir. Çalışmada 2000-2014 dönemi esas alınmıştır. Çalışmada iki yöntem kullanılmıştır. İlk olarak tekstil ve hazır giyim sektörünün endüstri-içi ticaret yapısı analiz edilmiştir. İkinci olarak tekstil ve hazır giyim sektörünün rekabet gücü analiz edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak Türkiye’nin tekstil sektöründe endüstri içi ticaretinin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Hazır giyim sektöründe ise endüstri içi ticaret seviyesi düşüktür. AB-15 ülkelerinde ise tekstil ve hazır giyim sektöründe endüstri içi ticaret seviyesinin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Rekabet gücü analizinde, Türkiye’nin tekstil ve hazır giyim sektöründe rekabet gücünün yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. AB-15 ülkelerinin tekstil ve hazır giyim sektöründe rekabet gücü düşüktür.

Abstract
Textile and clothing industry is one of the world’s oldest industries. Textile and clothing industry plays an important role in the economic development process because of employment, value-added and the share of export. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the foreign trade structure of the textile and clothing industry. 2000-2014 period was used in this study. Two methods were used in this study. Firstly, intra-industry trade structure of the textile and clothing industry was analyzed. Secondly, competitiveness of the textile and clothing industry was analyzed. As a result, it was found to be high intra industry trade Turkey’s textile industry. The level of intra industry trade is low in the clothing industry. It has seen a high level of intra industry trade of textile and clothing industry in the EU-15. In the competitive analysis, it was found to be high in Turkey's textile and clothing industry competitiveness. EU-15 countries competitiveness in the textile and clothing industry is low.
