Abstract

With the development of new media and digitalization, the details of the event happening elsewhere in the world can be learned by massive masses. With the development of new media and more sensitive societies, activist studies about the activities of institutions have reached an important dimension. In this direction, institutions can change policy. Campaigns, activist studies and published reports by Greenpeace, which has a high impact worldwide, have been reviewed to reveal these policy changes as a working method. On an institutional basis, the annual reports of the Inditex and Burberry companies on the Greenpeace Detox list and the qualitative research methodology conducted in the direction of the campaign were investigated to find out how the institutions have developed a reaction to these studies. In order to work in this direction, it was determined that the NGOs' work on their institutional policy and how the NGOs changed policy in the face of the activist work of NGOs
