Abstract

Along with the developments in the field of information and technology, today most of the people spend their time on internet and social media. These developments quickly attract consumers to social media. People need to review the internet and social media before purchasing any product or service. Today, organizations are using social media effectively to speed up their applications like marketing and advertising. The use of social media in businesses and the number of units that use this application are increasing. In this study, how marketing activities are conducted through social media was investigated and information about the effects of marketing activities on social media was given. In the analysis part of the study, the use of social media sharing platforms in our country and the marketing activities and applications of the companies on these platforms were evaluated.
