Abstract

In this study, it was investigated how the perceptions of Corporate Reputation Management affect organizational commitment and task performance of academic personnel. In this study, the effect of corporate reputation on task performance and organizational commitment was tested based on the assumption that corporate reputation is an effective element on organizational commitment and task performance. The research covers 287 academicians working at two state universities, which have been achieved through an easy sampling method. The results of the research show that statistically significant correlations between corporate reputation and task performance and organizational commitment were determined according to the results of the hierarchical regression analysis. In this study, the role of organizational commitment in the role of corporate reputation in the performance of the task has also been tested. The results of the research provide some explanatory information about how corporate reputation, which is a highly discussed topic in the literature, reflects on its mission performance and organizational commitment relationships.
