Abstract

Minstrel style poem is one of important sources of Turkish literature have been one of sources of Turkish literature, performed impromptu, minstrel style poem-from past till now- can be considered as a source or a branch on which there are many prominent poets. Minstrel style on which an impromptu performance is dominant, the poet places sometimes his love, sometimes his religious and mystic feelings. Desperate Selimî- one of important poets of minstrel style poem- places religious and mystic issues, feelings and thoughts of his community. Being a poetfrom Sivas, desperate Selimî has a lot of poems related to religion and mysticism. Saying, after listening to conversations of scholors. He became a poet, desperate Selimî’s early education has a vital effect effect on his poems.
