Abstract
Abstract Today, municipalities meet the needs of the people of the municipality within the framework of social municipality understanding, contribute to the increase of welfare level and support development. They also perform many functions for disadvantaged groups. In this study, the studies of Kapaklı district of Tekirdağ province for disadvantaged groups were evaluated within the framework of social municipality understanding. The research is a case study. In this study, a sample of the municipality of Kapaklı district of Tekirdag was analyzed. Research data were collected through interviews with the authorities of the institution. Various activities are conducted for disadvantaged groups in Kapaklı district.
