THE VIEWS OF NEW ALUMNI CLASSROOM TEACHERS ABOUT CLASSROOM TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM YENİ MEZUN SINIF ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN SINIF ÖĞRETMENİ YETİŞTİRME PROGRAMINA İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ
The purpose of this study is to reveal the views of new alumni classroom teachers about classroom teacher training program. In the study, 26 teachers, 13 of which work at multigrade classes with a single teacher and 13 teaching at independent classes at city or county classes have been chosen using extreme case or transverse sampling methods of intentional sampling methods. For data collection, the literature has been reviewed and semi-structured interview questionnaire written by the author have been used.
As a result of this study, the results have shown that the teachers teaching at both multigrade classes handled by a single teacher and independent classes at city or county centers have stated that they do not need the major field classes such as General Physics, General Chemistry and General Biology and general knowledge classes such as Philosophy and Sociology which are included in undergraduate program course list during their career.
