The most significant effect of social capital on university instructors is going to appear during reaching and creating information. A qualified university instructor on reaching and creating information will be effective, while the universities are becoming modern. On the other hand, the social capital perspective of academicians and their effectiveness on social capital are some of the facts that determines the sociality of university students. From this point of view, it is necessary to examine the social capital profile of academicians. Main aim of this stud is to analyse the social capital profile of academicians. According to this, participation to local committees, neighbourhood relations, sense of belonging, trust, tolerance and job success of the academicians who are working in vocational high schools of Adnan Menderes University will be calculated by using “Onyx and Bullen Social Capital Scale”. Results, which are gathered from this scale, will be evaluated. Population of this study consists of about 81 academicians working in vocational high schools of Adnan Menderes University. It is aimed to apply the scale among all these academicians. Data analysis will be done by using SPSS.
