Abstract
Undoubtedly, Ashburnham Pentateuch has an important place in Christian manuscripts. It offers us significant information understanding of place in Christian manuscripts of the Old Testament text. Especially, it gives detailed knowledge about the story of Moses and Genesis, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph and his brothers. Scope of work, other hand in writing, in the catacombs, mosaics, the similarities between sculpture and murals were discussed, presented information about the styles and origins, features of this manuscript iconographic.
