Abstract
Atatürk, which enabled the Turkish Nation to gain its independence by winning the National Struggle, established the Republic of Turkey after the war. Atatürk, who thinks that the most appropriate form of government for the structure of the Turkish nation is the Republic, has also created the institutions required by the Republic. In this article, Atatürk's concept of republic, the formation of the idea of republic at Ataturk, the establishment of the institutions required by the republic and the republic were examined.
