Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the opinions of teachers for the Life Science Teaching Program according to some variables. The study was conducted in a descriptive scanning model for collecting quantitative data. The study group of the study has 387 class teachers working in 33 primary schools within the scope of Ordu-Altınordu district. As a result of the reliability and validity analysis performed on the data collection tool, the Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient was found to be 0.974. Analysis of the data was done by using SPSS 18.0 statistical program and frequency / percentage calculations, independent samples t-test, one-way variance analysis (ANOVA), Tamhane and Tukey tests were applied after analyzing the characteristics of the distribution. According to the findings, in terms of teacher opinions; although there was no significant difference in terms of "gender" variance, it was found that there were significant differences in terms of "in-service training status", "duration of vocational service" and "level of education graduated".
