Abstract

Though Christianity is an eastern based religion, it played a significant role in the construction of western civilizations. When we look at religions in general, we see that religions developed by shaping the geographies and cultures where they were born. However, as Christianity progressed towards the West, it was influenced by ancient cultures and approached Teslis, while preserving its origins in the East relatively. Does the main tenet of this development arise from the missionary activities of Christianity, its prophets and scriptures? Or is it because the cultures and political atmosphere it meets are more favorable in the environment of Christianity? In the light of such questions, how the belief system of Christianity evolved in this historical process will constitute the content of our article. From the first periods of Christianity to the 2nd Vatican Council period, Monofizite (mia / fisis = unified nature) and Diophysite (dio / fisis = dual nature) discussions on Crystallogy have continued and the reflections of these discussions even continue today. In this article, we will try to explain the background causes and effects of these theological debates, which are as old as the history of Christianity, within the context of the Councils.
