Globalization aims to change people's habits, especially consumption habits by likening them to each other. The most important tool he uses to achieve this goal is advertising. Advertising seeks to make consumers consume not what they need, but what they do not need. The emotional benefits of the product outweigh the physical benefits. Because the consumer purchases a spiritual satisfaction with the product. This represents a status, lifestyle, vanity, a social class. Advertising, which targets the emotional weaknesses of the consumer, constantly fuels and keeps this desire alive. Advertising does this with a hedonistic strategy. Emotions such as sexuality, lust, desires, and pleasure are the most used items of hedonistic advertising. This study aims to show how the consumption cycle is used, particularly through the female body and female sexuality. This phenomenon has been studied semiotically with Magnum's hedonist advertisements. Magnum, the world's most well-known ice cream brand, was chosen for its the most striking examples of hedonic consumption pleasure-based campaigns. Interestingly an ice cream brand evokes such a female sexuality and is associated with it globally. In this study Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis method was used to examine Magnum advertisements. For this purpose, Magnum's TV hedonist commercials: "Release the Beast" series were chosen as sample commercials and analyzed semiotically. Thus, the relationship between hedonism created over female sexuality and the consumption perception created by globalization has been clearly examined and the hedonism created by the advertisements over female body was analyzed detailly.

Since every society sees its children as the future of the country, it uses fairy tales to convey its traditional values to the children. Although fairy tales are narratives aiming to prepare children for the future; that the ways of living are different can change the way they approach events, and the phraseology, even in the same type of fairy tales. Although some of the things told in the tale seem like imaginary products that are incompatible with reason and logic, they support the child's adaptation to the society and contribute to learning and applying the behaviors that are seen as right or wrong in terms of society. This is because the environment and lifestyle have a great influence on the formation of cultures. Therefore, it is natural for the contents of fairy tales that reflect social values to be different along with their similarities. Even though there are beings like fairies, giants, dwarfs in fairy tales, there are not many examples of Tom Thumb as a fairy tale hero. Those in western literature such as French and German are generally similar in content because they are fed from similar cultures. Niger society, which has been under western exploitation for centuries like other peoples of Africa, has succeeded to protect its own personality to a certain extent although it was influenced by western customs and habits in many areas from its language to daily life, and with the Izé-Gani tale, Niger culture has shown that it is quite different from those who exploited them. In this study, we will compare the similar and unlike aspects between Grimm brothers' Thumbling tale from German literature and Izé-Gani which is the Tom Thumb tale of Boubou Hama from Niger literature. Thus, how different life styles affect even fairy tales of the same type will be shown with an example from African literature, which has not been studied much in our literature, and a contribution from a different literature will be presented to the field of comparative literature.

Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor among women in the world and constitutes almost 25% of cancer types found in women. This study was initiated to investigate the effect of video training given to women who applied to Bursa İlker Çelikcan Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital on an outpatient basis or who received inpatient treatment in the hospital on the self-examination breastfeeding model and the application levels of breast screening methods. 74 women who participated in the study voluntarily were included. Participants were randomly selected and divided into two as control and experimental groups, and the data were collected using the "Patient Presentation Form", "Champion's Breast Cancer Screening Health Belief Scale" by applying pre-test and post-test. The data were evaluated in SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) package program with descriptive analysis. For the research, verbal permission from the participants and written permission from the institution was obtained. After the training in the experimental and control groups, “Self Breast Examination” (BSE) was also increased regularly, and this increase was found statistically significant in the experimental group (p = 0.028 <0.05), the increase in the rate of BSE in the experimental group statistically significant (p = 0.000 <0.05), the increase in the control group was not significant. In both groups, the perception of benefits and self-efficacy scores, which are the sub-dimensions of the Champion Health Belief Model Scale, were found to be statistically higher and the disability scores were lower than the post-training scores. The increase in self-efficacy and utility points in the experimental group increased significantly compared to the control group. It has been shown that following the video training in women included in the research, follow-up positively contributed to the health beliefs related to breast cancer and to perform breast self-examination regularly.

It is seen that graphic design, which reached a new visual understanding with the effect of revolutionary movements such as Cubism, Futurism, Dada, Surrealism, which emerged at the end of the 19th century, turned into moving designs, especially with the initiatives of Expressionist, Dadaist and Surrealist artists. It is observed that animated graphic design, which gives its first examples with information and promotional articles in 19th century cinema, has become a part of the language of expression with experimental cinema studies. As the technical possibilities increase, it is seen that motion graphic design has taken its place among the indispensable elements of cinema and then television. While the developments in computer technology leave the traditional methods in motion graphic design to the software in the digital environment, the designs physically created by the graphic artists are started to be replaced by the productions whose boundaries are determined by the imagination but whose material is from an unlimited virtual world. In this study, in which technical changes occurring during the production phase as well as the usage areas of motion graphic design developed with the experimental cinema, developed with cinema generics, strengthened with television and increasing with digitalization today, the revolutionary acceleration of motion graphic designs formed with digitization (digitization) will be emphasized.

While translating the manuscripts, there are many spelling mistakes in the translation of Arabic and Persian texts. Some of these inaccuracies are caused by the difficulty of the process, while some are due to carelessness. The purpose of this study, prepared as a small guide, is to prevent Turkish language field researchers who cannot fully understand the structure of the Arabic language from making some mistakes. In this article, some works are examined, spelling errors are introduced, information about Arabic is presented and their correct forms are specified. As it is known, the essential thing in a language is the sentence, then the word groups that make up the sentence, and then the words that make up the groups. The correct form of the word coming from Arabic can be learned from the dictionary and used in Turkish writing. In order to use phrases or sentences in Turkish texts, it is necessary to learn the basic rules of Arabic and to pay attention to these rules. Since the pronouns, prefixes, prepositions and verbs can be learned from the dictionary in the classification of the rules, a separate title has not been made, some types of phrases and sentence types formed by these word types have been taken as basis.

Our world is roughly four and a half billion years old. The world is the environment of all living things, especially humans. The world, which includes people and other living creatures, allows the needs of all the assets that it creates to be provided from its own resources. The progressive age of the world, the increase in the speed of consumption unexpectedly, the limited resources consumed and the recycling of the limited resources needed as a result of natural resources decreasing day by day become a vital problem in the age of life. The environment is a whole with the living and inanimate beings it contains. Each part of the whole affects others. Human consciously or unconsciously, is the one that causes the most damage to the environment in which it lives. The achievements and approaches required for a sustainable environment should be brought to the communities. Individuals should be ensured to be conscious, sensitive citizens with high level of awareness towards the society and the environment through the education they receive. Teachers will guide individuals to reach this awareness and sensitivity. Teaching is a human engineering. If it is desired that the society consists of citizens, it should be ensured that higher education institutions that train teachers are institutions that incorporate these qualities. Also, since all teachers lead the society as an output / product of higher education, that is, the education system, it is an important issue to measure the attitudes and awareness of prospective teachers attending higher education. Individuals who will perform the teaching profession should be aware of environmental problems and problems related to recycling and should have the necessary sensitivity. The general aim of the study is to examine the pre-service teachers' awareness of environmental issues. Screening model was used in the research. The data were obtained from 297 prospective teachers studying at a foundation university in Istanbul. The “awareness scale for environmental problems” developed by Güven and Aydoğdu (2012) was used as a data collection tool. It has been determined that the level of awareness of teacher candidates towards environmental problems is medium.

Many animals believed to be sacred in the belief culture of the Turkish world have become important representatives of the peoples with their symbolic features. With their superior powers in natural life and their charismatic qualities (leadership, protection, strength, etc.), they gained the admiration of the tribes and made them believe that they had a holy spirit. Every people who sanctified the animals chose an animal as a tug, and displayed it in their flags, khan's tents and stamps, shamans, drums, clothes, and hoods. The wolf cult and its manifestation as wolf-father and wolf-mother cult which are symbolically significant among Turkish cultural assets came into existence as a guide, protector and bloodline keeper-saver. In this article, which is prepared basing on the ancient Turkish legends, the importance of the wolf for Turkish people will be stressed and its effects on Turkish people’s lives in the past and the present will be shown. The examples from the Middle Asian, Oghuz and Anatolian myths and epics which are about the belief that Turks descended from wolves will be presented and their effects on folk belief will be discussed. In this article, we will emphasize how the objects belonging to wolves affected the “birth facilitation methods” in the framework of its divine ability to continue bloodline and we will emphasize how the wolf-ancestor belief affected the traditions. As a conclusion, the fact that the wolf motive still keeps its value today due to Turkish people’s traditionalist approach, the wolf’s contribution to biological continuance and through which objects it contributes to birth facilitation methods will be discussed.

In the study, it is aimed to determine whether adolescents' perceptions of human values and unwanted teacher behaviour and the effects of unwanted teacher behaviour differ according to their gender and to what extent they affect their academic achievement. The study group of the research was selected by convenience sampling method from adolescents studying at different grade levels in an Anatolian high school in Konya city centre in the 2017-2018 academic year. The study group consists of 303 adolescents, including 140 male students and 163 female students. The research was carried out in accordance with the relational scanning model, which is a subtype of the general survey model. In the study, the "Human Values Scale" developed by Dilmaç (2007) and the "Unwanted Teacher Behaviour Scale" developed by Erben Keçici et al. (2013) were used as data collection tools. Research data were analyzed with SPSS 21.0 program. According to the findings obtained from the study, it was observed that the mean scores of the sub-dimension of the unwanted teacher behaviour scale of male students were significantly higher than the mean scores of the scale sub-dimension of female students. It was observed that there was no statistically significant difference between male students and female students in terms of the mean scores of the human values scale sub-dimension of responsibility, friendship, being peaceful, respect, honesty, and tolerance. A significant negative correlation was found between the students' achievement in physics and the mean scores of the effects of unwanted teacher behaviour. In addition, it has been observed that there is a positive significant relationship between achievement in physics course and the mean responsibility scores from the sub-dimensions of the human values scale; as the responsibilities of the students increased, their academic achievement also increased. The research findings were discussed in the light of the literature.

The Dresden and Vatican munuscripts of Dede Korkut were based on this study; the Turkmen Saharan munuscript were not included in the study as the concept of family did not mention. As is known, family is the core structure of a society. Society is based on the family, it is formed. Therefore, the culture of that society is better understood when domestic relations are revealed. Moving from these ideas, we examined the family structure of nomad Oguz Turks in these epics. So we tried to see how the warm relations between family members and individuals of Oghuz Turks reflected on the Oghuz society. We also examined how much family structure and interpersonal relationships are reflected in today's family structure and interpersonal relationships. The first determination to be made here is that there is a living and warm family structure in the Oghuz. It was also observed that individuals in this family structure were never violent to each other and were fond of each other. In this case, Domestic relationships in Dede Korkut Oghuznames can be seen as a role model for modern family type.

One of the important representatives of our literature in the Republican period is Yahya Kemâl Beyatlı. Although he has prose works, his main artistry is in his poetries and style as a poetrist. The most important feature of Yahya Kemâl as a poetrist is the fact that he has a command of Classical poetry and reflects all the subtleties and artistic aspects of this literary period. While performing this, Yahya Kemâl is an important artist who has been able to use all the facilities and skills of Turkish to the end.
Yahya Kemâl, in one way, was completely fed from tradition. He re-interpreted the basic dynamics, features and content of Classical poetry. However, he is not entirely a Classical literary imitator; he incorporates the literary pleasure, perception and understanding of his period into Classical literary. In his work titled "With the Wind of Old Poetry", which consists of his poems, which he says in this style, he seems to have used the completely traditional one as a figure. In the poems in this work, he keep the original shapes of the words. However, we observe the evolution of Turkish in his work titled “Our Own Sky Dome”, including the collection of his poems assumed as the continuation of the same tradition. The Arabic and Persian words seem to have been used intentionally in the poems of Yahya Kemâl, depending on some sound features of Turkish over time.

Diyarbakir has an important place in literature, art and science as well as in music. Many local artists who perform local music have also been brought up in our city, which has a wide musical tradition. The aim of this research is to conduct a detailed examination of the “Velime nights”, an important musical tradition of Diyarbakir, which is about to be forgotten, and to ensure that the information acquired through interviews with the performers on these nights is transmitted to future generations in a correct way.
In the research, by searching the literature, recorded audio and video recordings about Velime Nights were examined, and information was collected from the first sources about the period. Later, music performers who took part in Velime nights were interviewed and their opinions were taken about Velime nights.
During the interviews, the purpose of Velime nights, the folk songs performed during the night, the maqams used and the instruments played were tried to be determined. Opinions were presented that Velime Nights were held for the purpose of entertainment, sharing, and social assistance within Diyarbakır music and that this important tradition should continue.
The work is important in order to prevent the loss of the important cultural element of the region and to try to keep this culture alive by passing it on from generation to generation.

Though Christianity is an eastern based religion, it played a significant role in the construction of western civilizations. When we look at religions in general, we see that religions developed by shaping the geographies and cultures where they were born. However, as Christianity progressed towards the West, it was influenced by ancient cultures and approached Teslis, while preserving its origins in the East relatively. Does the main tenet of this development arise from the missionary activities of Christianity, its prophets and scriptures? Or is it because the cultures and political atmosphere it meets are more favorable in the environment of Christianity? In the light of such questions, how the belief system of Christianity evolved in this historical process will constitute the content of our article. From the first periods of Christianity to the 2nd Vatican Council period, Monofizite (mia / fisis = unified nature) and Diophysite (dio / fisis = dual nature) discussions on Crystallogy have continued and the reflections of these discussions even continue today. In this article, we will try to explain the background causes and effects of these theological debates, which are as old as the history of Christianity, within the context of the Councils.
