Cooperative and creative potentials of people can be initiated in the educational process by dealing with lyrical texts in connection with the media and thus be sensitized for communication and literacy skills. Dealing with poems is particularly challenging, as they require imaginative, emotional interaction. The individuals and their emotions and thoughts play an important role in the literary texts. In addition to linguistic skills, poems can promote several key skills. The aim of this article is to use lyrical texts to address cooperative-creative writing and to describe its components for linguistic competence. Finally it can be said that the students were encouraged to write cooperatively with the aid of short poems and were able to use their creativity. The cooperative reading and writing gave German teacher training candidates a wide range of opportunities to learn the language. In this context they were able to experience emotions, feelings, thoughts, experiences, ideas, self-awareness and change of perspective in cooperative writing.

Methodology may be estimated how to make and organize things, in a manner of speaking. However, methodology require a map indicating a program schedule and stages of making things, at least. A researcher may make valid research with using methodology. With particularly beginning to operate in computers, algorithms generally have the capability to form several kind of mathematical models about solving problem. Indeed, to solve given research problem, algorithms may correctly describe briefly a solution. One of algorithm may relate definite research problem with theories, theories with hypothesis, and hypothesis with questionnaries. In addition, algorithms function with its models especially in quantitavite researches; and this means they may solve definite research problem via functioning several kinds of ways depending upon combinations among options of theory using, hypothesis and questions forming.

Structuralism is an approach that defines the relationship between the part and the whole. This study aims to analyse William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” in terms of the structuralist approach. In the surface structure, there is love between Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet who are the children of hostile families. In terms of syntagmatic relation, Romeo and Juliet fall in love with each other, decide to marry and keep it in secret. In terms of paradigmatic relation, there is homology of relationship between the two hostile families. As for the surface structure, there is a symmetrical arrangement of plot between public scenes and private scenes. As for the surface meaning, there is the thematic conflict between hatred and love. As for the deep structure, its harmony operates on binary opposition between public hatred and private love. Its melody operates on the fixed cycle of public hatred and private love. As for the deep meaning, where there is public hatred, private love is helpless. Love can live forever only when society is in peace.

It was aimed to evaluate Educational Information Network (EBA) via Educational Criticism model in this research. A case study, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the study. The study group was selected using a purposeful sampling method. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool; in the analysis of the data obtained, the content analysis method was used. The research findings were obtained by interviewing seven teachers from different disciplines who use the EBA platform in their courses. According to the findings of the study; both the problems arising from EBA content and digital infrastructure and the problems seen in the implementation negatively affect the effectiveness of the EBA platform. Although such problems occur in EBA courses, technical infrastructure arrangements and content updates will make the EBA platform applicable, usable and effective. It could be transformed into a more effective instruction platform through evaluation studies on the EBA platform.

Inspired by a true story, <em>Patch Adams</em> (1998) tells the life of a suicidal man (a man with manic depressive disorder, or to use a much more contemporary term, a man with bipolar man), who makes his mind up to study medicine after his experience of a short stay in a mental hospital. During his stay there,(Hunter) Patch Adams (acted by Robbie Williams) comes to understand that physical healing cannot be obtained without having spiritual healing initially and having a strong urge to help ill people and to speed their healing process up with regard to their mental and physical health, Patch Adams decides to establish the <em>Gesundheit</em> Institute as another option to contemporary hospitals. Dr. Adams expresses that in the hospitals only symptoms of the diseases are treated, but the main causes of the diseases and the emotional state of the patients are not taken into consideration and are mostly disregarded. Putting together his first hand experiences of being an in-patient in a mental hospital and then being a medical doctor, he tries to bring alternative treatments (based on caring and sharing) at the <em>Gesundheit</em> Institute in the application of medical practice and in due course, he makes a positive impact by touching the lives of many people not only in his close circles, but all around the world as the story of Patch Adams is made into a movie (from the book <em>Gesundheit: Good Health Is a Laughing Matter</em>) and his ideas and principles with regard to health and healing spread and reach at millions of people through media. Hence, in this study, journey of Adams’ healing process as well as his healing methods in the field of medicine will be analyzed with regard to the flow of the events shown in <em>Patch Adams</em>. Moreover, the power of movies to raise awareness about health issues in our global world will be examined.

A translator of drama should be conscient of the fact that the language used in the dramatic work is aimed for both reading and performing, and they should get the reader and the audience distinguish it. For that reason, a translator of drama should take notice that every line they translate to another language carries the dramatic effect that the text sets out in both performance and written form. The aim of this study is to evaluate the Turkish translation of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth in an intertextual context. While taking into consideration some intertextual techniques that have important functions in forming the meaning of the text, the original and the target texts are analyzed and how the translator uses these elements of intertextuality in her translated work are touched upon. In particular, the techniques such as allusion or reference are the ones that form the basis of this study, and how they are reflected in the translated work underlies the ground for this reading. While examining the translated text and the original text; the fact that the translator possesses a good knowledge of the texts and authors the writer of the original text refers to or benefit from while writing their text, carries utmost importance. For that reason, how the translator uses this awareness and knowledge in the translated text, is also analyzed as one of the goals of this study.

AUGMENTED ETERNITY: PURSUIT OF IMMORTALIZATION WITH DIGITAL REMAINS

Existence has always been conceived with an end: death. This concept, which means the cessation of everything, also associates eternity with the afterlife. However, the power of technology seeks eternity not in posthumous thoughts, but also in life before death. The lives/representations, copied realities, and hyperreal perception created by the virtual include immortality within this scope as well. While digital life functions as a data store in this sense, digital traces of the past are followed in the post-mortem “upload” phase. Thus, a new post-death perception, described as augmented eternity or digital immortalization, is formed. However, the ego, which enters a reconstruction process with digital remains, makes the copy representing it and the way of production and existence of this copy problematic. Despite new steps in this field, it is not clear who would perform the copying, to what extent digital identity would reflect the reality, and if the re-life form created by digital remains is ethical or not. In this study, ethical and privacy problems arising from the concepts of augmented eternity/digital immortalization are investigated within the framework of simulation and singularity theories. Although the process of "immortalization" of the person after death promises eternality in a way, the ethical and privacy framework of digital life cannot be established because of the uncertainties regarding the practice of said immortality.

This research is prepared for the horizontal movements of chords and dyads used in harmonization, together with the melody and bass lines in the chord melody, which is one of the solo guitar approaches in jazz, and these movements are also compared with the voice leading movements. The approach that takes place and develops in jazz, and which is a reference because it transcends the boundaries of jazz and leaping into styles such as rock and pop, has been specifically explained through the bebop period and the cool period. In addition, the plectrum guitar, which is the origin of the approach, is also mentioned. This study aims to reveal the horizontal movements through the chord melody practices and to determine their compatibility by comparing them with the four movements in voice leading. For these purposes, transcriptions of chord melody practices, books on harmony, jazz theory and jazz history, and jazz guitar methods were examined. In the research, it has been determined that there are seven horizontal movements in chord melody practices, including parallel motion, contrary motion, common tone, sustaining the chords in the background, block chords, counter melodies and short chord emphasis. In addition, it has been determined that the parallel and contrary motions in the approach are identical with the voice leading movements in name and practically, while the other movements are compatible with parallel, contrary, oblique and similar motions according to their use.

Minstrel literature is an important activity that reflects our national culture in all its aspects, brought up to the present from the end of the 15th century by minstrels who are representatives of the tradition. As the representatives of the tradition, the minstrels are known as folk artists who sing both their own and master-made poems, with or without a saz, extemporarily. In this context, the minstrels are in the position of both the creator and the performer of the work. While reading the poem they have created, they also take on the role of cultural carriers by addressing both the age and the beyond. The minstrel literature was influenced especially by the Central Asian literary traditions, and after the adoption of Islam, it was also heavily influenced by the Islamic structure. One of the most important building blocks of the culture tradition of minstrelsy is that it is transmitted from generation to generation both orally and in writing, and the traces of this tradition are kept alive with all its vitality and beauty even today. This feature of the tradition has brought it from centuries to today; It has enabled it to be recognized and spread from Central Asia to the remotest points of Anatolia. Looking at the products of tradition, it will be seen that Central Asian traditions and Islamic structure are intertwined. At this point, although the minstrel literature is an individual literature, it is also a tradition literature. Representatives of this literature strictly adhere to the rules of the tradition to which they belong, and they strictly abide by the relevant rules in the products they perform. The minstrel literature which has been performed sincerely by minstrels for centuries, undoubtedly constitutes an important part of Turkish oral culture and Turkish folk literature. It is known that in the tradition of minstrelsy, many minstrels have been raised over the centuries from the first representatives to the present day. It is known that among the minstrels, there are also those who play reed and sing poetry, as well as those who do not play the reed but only sing poetry. For this reason, many scientists have defined the minstrel with different aspects. Yakup Temelî, one of the lovers of our age, is one of the minstrels who play saz and sing poetry, extemporarily. The ministrel who has a very strong reed, word and extemporising aspect has several poems such as folk strories, lampoonry, güzelleme, koçaklama, lament, hoyrats, chansonette, etc. In this study, after the short life story of Âşık Yakup Temelî, various examples of the poems written by the poet in the style of “Cinas, Mani, Hoyrat” will be given, and the poems he wrote in these three styles will be evaluated from various aspects and a conclusion will be reached. In addition, a table will be created for the statistical data of the poems in question.

In this study, the land use changes on the tectonic Lâdik Lake Basin located on Samsun province are investigated. The watershed is one of the important wetlands in our country and has a protection status. The study is based on the field observations and investigations carried out on the Lâdik Lake Basin in different years. 30 meters resolution Landsat satellite images, which has been used in the investigation of changes in land use in recent years, are used. Controlled classification technique is applied to satellite images. In order to provide more accurate results, 162 reference points obtained by field studies are processed into satellite images and used for classification. The range of satellite images is 30 years (1987-2017) and the changes within a year are determined by two different satellite images belonging to the years 2010 and 2017. A total of 11434 people live in 17 settlement centers within the basin borders. 8970 of this population live in Lâdik district center and the remaining 2464 live in rural areas. The main livelihood of the people in the basin is agriculture and husbandry. In almost every part on the basin, forest areas constituted the largest area and agricultural areas followed forest areas. Shrubby areas decreased after 2000 and vacant land increased due to rural migration. Agricultural land in the basin increased by 5 km2 and forest areas increased by 6 km2 in 30 years. Shrubbery areas decreased by half from 31 km2 in 1987 to 15 km2 in 2017. Settlement areas have increased almost every year. The most change in the basin was in agricultural lands. Especially because of the low yield of the fields that have gained deforestation and degrade of shrublands, people planted them for a few years and the remaining years were left empty.
ON THE DETERMINATION OF 'CONSONANTAL REPRODUCTION’ IN TURKEY TURKISH DIALECT STUDIES

Consonantal reproduction is a sound event based on the subsequent emergence of sounds for various reasons although they are not actually present in the word. Reproduction in Turkish occurs in two types, vowel and consonant sounds. Consonantal reproduction from them is one of the main sound events encountered in Turkey Turkish dialects. Consonantal reproduction in Turkey Turkish dialects is seen in the pre-sound, inner and final sound in the word, and these reproductions are explained for different reasons. In this study, the parts examined as “consonantal reproduction” were scanned in Turkey Turkish dialect studies. It has been found that the phenomenon of consonantal reproduction is considered in different forms in Turkey Turkish dialect studies. Within some of the studies, the reproduction that took place in three different places of the word was examined separately; in some, it was evaluated under a general heading; and in others, it was treated with a separate heading to the prothesis. When the testimonies in the scanned sources were examined, it was seen that some studies acted from the standard language in determining consonantal reproduction, while others referred to the form in old Turkish or the form in the source language if the quote is a word. Another title associated with consonantal reproduction in Turkey Turkish dialect studies is consonant gemination. In studies where this event is evaluated under the title of consonantal reproduction, consonants that are thought to be derived from inner sound appear to be more in number. However, since consonant gemination is evaluated under a separate heading in some studies, the appearance of the consonant derived from the inner sound differs. In addition, it is seen in many studies that consonantal reproduction are recorded only with their witnesses, that there are no evaluations about them, or that they are a repetition of existing evaluations. With this study, it is aimed to examine the examples under the title of "consonantal reproduction" in Turkey Turkish dialect studies, to reveal the methods followed in reproduction detection and to describe consonant reproductions.

A CONCEPTUAL REVIEW ON INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF DEATH AND PLACES OF DEATH

Death is a fact of our lives, and is not a part of our lives, and is sent towards a taboo field. This situation, which is triggered by modern medicine and secularization, is to influence all the stages of where, when, how and how death will take place, and what should be done after it has occurred. In this domain of influence, death was transferred from the home environment with its own bed and quilt, which he defined as a nest between four walls, to the environment of a wide variety of stimuli that he never knew. Here, it can be said that death and places of dying have undergone a serious change and moved to hospitals. The evolution of death taken to hospitals into an institutional phenomenon begins here. Within a certain framework of institutionalization of death, pre-mortem and post-mortem processes of the individual, certain patterns may be ambiguous. In the other institutionalization of death, in the other institutionalization of the society, pre and post-death services are now carried out by the state and sometimes by the private sector through some official processes. In this case, although death, which is one of the changing dynamics of death, has undergone a change with modern medicine, modern medicine's death, dying options and institutionalization of death are mentioned in more detail in modern medicine. This study, in which theoretical promise is given about the institutionalization of dying and death, may contribute to future studies.

Kutadgu Bilig is the first known work of "Islamic Period Turkish Literature" written by Balasagunlu Yusuf Has Hacib in the eleventh century The book contains information that appeals to many disciplines such as philosophy, psychology, sociology, medicine, religion, communication, sports, education, and folklore. The advice given in the light of this information also contains many values. While giving values, a straightforward expression is avoided, values are discussed with examples through discussions over the characters and the features they represent. Ten root values are also included in the 2019 Turkish Course Curriculum. It has been determined that these values are also included in Kutadgu Bilig. In the study, the values in Kutadgu Bilig were evaluated by making use of qualitative research methods, document analysis and descriptive scanning method. Opinions on the usability of couplets in Turkish lessons with different methods and techniques are presented. The work has been examined in different aspects in a multi-dimensional way and interpreted by giving these angles with examples from the work. As a result, it is seen that the information contained in Kutadgu Bilig, which remains important even today, can be a source of values education.

The state needs social cooperation in order to maintain its existence and continuity. Non-governmental organizations and professional associations appear as important organizations that can provide social cooperation. The establishment and development of new institutions and organizations, which were given importance in the 1950s, can be seen as a result of the "new world order" approach that emerged as a result of the Second World War. The world (especially western states), which changed in the post-war period, started to give importance to new institutions in line with this approach. From this point of view, the study aims to examine the development of professional organizations in Turkey between 1950 -1954 and its relationship with the Democrat Party, which was the ruling party of that time, and to make an analysis of this situation. In this regard, studies in the fields of political history and professional organizations (books, journals, theses) will be examined. As a result of the research, it will be seen as a possible result that the relationship of professional organizations with the government has an important place in ensuring social binding.

GREENING THE MIDDLE AGES: AN ECO-CRITICAL APPROACH TO SIR GAWAIN AND THE GREEN KNIGHT

Written as a medieval romance, <em>Sir Gawain and the Green Knight</em> depicts the struggle between man and nature. In this respect, in the poem, man and nature are reflected as binary oppositions and dualism, challenging and conflicting with one another, circulating with the discourses of power. The dichotomy of man and nature is achieved by two major characters, Sir Gawain, who represents anthropocentric ideology, objectifying and dominating nature, seeing it as the other, and the Green Knight, who adopts an eco-centric, posthumanist, and organic ideology, challenging man’s destroying and civilizing wild life and nature. However, considered more as nature anthromorphized through Bertilak/the Green transformation by the help of Morgan Le Fay, the Green Knight exemplifies the integration of man and nature. In other words, Bertilak/Green Knight deconstructs and subverts human/non-human, man/nature and culture/nature dualisms of the anthropocene view of the Judea-Christian world, adopting a more sustainable and ecological approach to nature. On the other hand, the civilization/wild life dichotomy is achieved also in the presentation of conflicting and dualistic geographical spaces, between Camelot and Hautdesert. Camelot represents human civilization, war, luxury, extravagancy, and civilized nature, while Hautdesert represents wild life, peace, and minimal economical use of natural sources. Thus, this study re-reads and examines <em>Sir Gawain and the Green Knight</em> from an ecocritical perspective, stressing the dichotomies of "man/nature" and "civilization/nature", in which nature conquers civilization.

The purpose of the study is to discuss the teaching of physical constants such as Planck's constant, speed of light in vacuum, and electron charge. The study is a document review. The data of this qualitative study were obtained by examining documents such as Planck's constant (h), speed of light in space (c), electron charge (e) and published scientific articles and books on their subjects. A physical constant should be considered as a basic feature of the subject in which it is or is involved, and its importance and function in the teaching process should be explained conceptually. Writing the constants, whose values are given exponentially in physics textbooks, as a decimal at least once during the teaching of the subject or in accordance with the daily life can have positive and lasting effects on students. In line with the findings obtained from the analyzed documents, the practices and observations made in physics lessons, the examples seen, the experiences gained and the intuitions formed, it has been claimed that the physical constants can be understood easily and correctly in the process of teaching physical constants by providing some conditions. It is stated that the conditions put forward are also the recommendations of this study.

One of the most important indicators of the development levels of countries is the participation of women in employment. Women, who started to take place in the labor market as wage labor with the Industrial Revolution, have faced many obstacles in both developed and developing countries in the historical process. One of these obstacles is unregistered work, which is important for both the labor force and the country's economy. As a result of informal employment, individuals cannot benefit from the opportunities provided by the social security system, and the state also suffers tax losses. Due to negative externalities, informal work has become a problem to be focused on and resolved. The aim of this study is to focus on the causes and consequences of unregistered women's employment, and solutions for reducing informal employment, based on the employment and unregistered employment rates of women in the world and in Turkey. In the study, using the theoretical method, women's employment, unregistered employment and unregistered employment rates of women in Turkey are explained with the data obtained from the Turkish Statistical Institute, Social Security Institution and the World Bank. In order to contribute to the literature, in the conclusion part, it has been observed that the unregistered employment rates are high as well as the increase in women's employment rates. Suggestions were made, such as increasing the frequency of inspections, reducing unemployment and preventing the tendency to informality.

With the industrial revolution beginning to spread on the global surface, fundamental changes have been experienced in the patterns of old production and its distribution, particularly in cultures. With this change, people's habits and social life have also been rebuilt. This circumstance has taken society into a spiral of transformation by putting distance between old and new norms, and reformed them. As in the whole world, while some businesses lines and professions have grown in popularity by transforming into the geography of our tyranny with the prevalence of industrial activities, some have lost lost their functions in the historical scene. Besides, in the settlements dating to an old history such as Diyarbakır, major changes in some professions and business lines identified with the city have been experienced over the past century. With the internal turmoil in the city, some business lines and professions having completed their missions by the wind-effect of the industrial revolution have started to gradually withdraw from the scene of history. Traditional production environments and shapes remaining dysfunctional in the formed global order have had trouble keeping up with the era, and have begun to disappear without being felt.

The present study aimed to evaluate the Language and Lecture Course (9th and 12th grade) curriculum by adopting Stufflebeam’s CIPP (Context-Input-Process-Product) Model according to the opinions of Turkish Language and Literature teachers in high schools. Having a quantitative type of research design, this study used the descriptive survey model. The data was collected with the “Teachers’ View Scale on the Language and Lecture Course (9th and 12th grade) Curriculum” including 40 items and a personal information part with 5 questions. After a normality check through Kolmogorov Smirnov test, the data was analyzed in SPSS Package, through T-Test, ANOVA, frequency, standard deviation, mean, percentages and correlational analyses. It was found that the teachers have moderately positive views on the Language and Lecture Course curriculum. The correlational analysis indicated that there was a significant relationship between the context, input, process and output dimensions. It was also concluded that the teachers with a 0-12 years of experience had more positive views on the total, context and input dimensions in comparison with the teachers who had a job experience more than 12 years. There was not a statistically significant difference in the total scale and the sub-dimensions in regard to the type of school in which the teachers work.
