This study handles the discussions made around the term of globalisation in a period of 25 years and displays that due to the grand generalizations that inferred from relatively little findings, the main propositions introduced by the globalists are not suggested by the data and therefore refuted. Additionally, it is observed that because of globalists’ approach to globalization is rather ideologically motivated and not supported by scientific findings their discussions about the subject matter are speculative in nature.
The main propositions claimed by the globalists that discussed in this study are: i) A single-polar world order led by social democracy is emerging as the sole option for humanity; ii) Economic globalization is an irreversible trend; and iii) In the era of globalization nation-state is highly unlikely to survive. Our discussion displays that under the light of the developments around the world within 25 years of period all these propositions are refuted. It is also understood that most of the developments attributed to globalizations are in fact artificial products of monopolization of the capital. Lastly, it is identified that globalization as a term becoming less attractive and less existent in the related literature whereas terms such as “semi-globalization”, and “de-globalisations” are more evident.

‘SUZUKI MOTHER TONGUE METHOD’ IN EARLY AGE EDUCATION AND THE ROLE OF THE MOTHER AS TEACHER

The Suzuki teaching method was created by Japanese violinist and pedagogue Shinichi Suzuki. The central tenet of his philosophy was that, in the absence of some physical problem, ‘every child can play’. Eventually, it became one of the most popular teaching methods in the world. The main philosophy is that children are the creators of the future. The aim is to educate them through music and raise them as hardworking, honest, generous and happy human beings who are good citizens of their countries and the world. The Suzuki method is not about raising well known artists. It is about helping kids finding happiness and personal growth through music.
When Suzuki was in Germany for his education, he started to observe kids speaking German. Even though he, as an adult, had difficulty speaking it, small children quickly learned to speak comfortably. He began to think about the experiences that babies go through in learning to speak, and then worked for many years to adapt this process to violin teaching. In a broader sense, his Mother Tongue Method was also motivated by his experiences during World War II, when he saw the pain and suffering that children experienced. His overriding concern was that children, for whom he had much love, should never have to live through anything like this again.
Music skill starts at an early age. The mother, especially, is the first teacher of small kids. Families can decide which skills they want their kids to learn. They may have to make changes to the child’s environment in order the support learning skills. All early age teaching methods give a big role to the mother as a teacher. But Suzuki brought this role to the forefront and made it more rigorous. For such an important mission, not only to teach children music but to teach them to love it, the mother’s role has to be equal to that of the teacher.

Baudelaire gives a vision of what death can represent for artists because of their particular circumstances. This study examines the place of interrogatives in Baudelaire’s poems as a language and style component.
The language of a country gains a reputation and becomes attractive as much as the country advances in science, art, trade and politics. The demand for Turkish as a foreign language altered in direct proportion to the historical achievements of the Turkish people. Therefore, many works (particularly DîvânüLugati't-Türk) that were used as resources for teaching Turkish were created in different places where Turkish people established a state. Some of these works were examined, but many have yet to be revealed. Works created in the historical process should be examined for teaching a language and ensuring a systematic structure for teaching a language.
This study examined the methods and techniques in Sarf-ıTürkî, which was prepared by MuhammedNazif in Afghanistan in 1326 AH.
It is fair to say that the writer used the translation method for the grammar in the book. In addition to the question-answer method, the writer also used induction and deduction. Grammar rules were explained in Persian, and the examples were presented in Persian and Turkish in this book, which was written in Persian and Turkish. The writer demonstrated the verbs in all tenses in tables at the end of the book.

The aim of this study is to determine to what extent 7th graders gain the values within social studies course and the factors influential over their level of gaining. Thus, mix method, which combines both qualitative and quantitative research methods, has been adopted, and this research has been designed in accordance with convergent parallel design. Congruently with the aims of this research, 462 7th graders were administered Social Studies Course Value Education Scale at the end of 2012-2013. Simultaneously, semi-structured interviews were held with 18 social studies teachers. Research data collected via the scale has been analyzed via frequency, percentage, and arithmetic mean along with t-test and one-way variance analysis in order to compare means across groups. Data recorded during semi-structured interviews has been examined through content analysis. In this research, qualitative and quantitative data was collected simultaneously, analyzed separately, and then brought together again to relate with each other. At the end of the research, it has been found that the levels of 7th graders in terms of gaining values within social studies course differed with respect to the scale and to social studies teachers’ opinions. Based on the data obtained from the scale, students’ level in terms of gaining the values was partially adequate whereas it was mostly inadequate according to social studies teachers’ opinions. Moreover, it has been determined that the levels of students in gaining values within social studies course differs across several variables such as gender, monthly income of families, mother’s educational background, father’s educational background, and their academic success in social studies course. Social studies teachers, on the other hand, grouped the factors influencing students’ levels of gaining the values within social studies course as in-school and outside-the-school factors, and have underpinned that outside-the-school factors such as family, environment, and mass media devices are more effective than in-school factors.

Building web site has become a necessity today as a result of extensive electronic commerce activities. Businesses build a web site to increase brand value, decrease costs, run marketing and advertising operations as well as other various reasons. Setting up a website has become easier than ever with decreasing costs. This paper discusses the accounting of costs and expenses observed through web site setting, planning and designing phases. The fact that building a web site is now mandatory for stock corporations, accounting of web site costs concept has become much more significant. Moreover, accounting and recognition of web site costs based on Turkish Accounting Standards (TAS) is also a critical issue. When website establishment and development costs are investigated in terms of Turkish Accounting Standards (TAS); it is clear that some web site costs should be activated and capitalized, while some other specific ones should be written off.

The social security system is one of the most important indicators of the level of well-being that protects individuals against various risks and is trying to secure their future. After the 1980s the change in the labor market with the influence of globalization Social security system has also deeply affected. Such that, on the one hand, the role of the state on the social security system has declined, while on the other side the private pension system began to become widespread. But the structural changes and transformations in the labor market and in the social security system have further deepened the gender inequality that exists in the working life. As is known, the number of women in working life is increasing every passing day. This increase usually occurs in precarious jobs. However, if the jobs where women are employed are relatively short, irregular and insecure, women are excluded from the social security system, which is based on the principle of regular premium payment. Therefore despite an important part of women being involved in the working life, they can not have the right to social security on their own. For this reason, part of the women in question are trying to be included in the system in their addictive status. However, women who cannot be included in the system are forced to live a life without security.

It is natural that there are differences between art and aesthetics. Because, art and aesthetics always have a subjective aspect. Therefore, the differences in definitions on poetry or in the studies toward determining its limitations are in its nature. What really matters in art is the work created. Once the work is born, it also brings its own shape and the essence.
The history of poetics which focuses on what poetry is and should be goes back to Greek philosophy. Some information about the art of poetry can be seen in work which focuses on philosophy of beauty dating from Aristo. This word which passes from Old Greek to other Western Languages is being used as poetics or the art of poetry in our language. Although we cannot mention about independent work belonging to poetics of our classical poetry, we can find information about poetry in tezkires (collection of poems), preface to divan (collected poems) and fahhriyye sections of kaside (eulogy). Moreover, we can find information that can be associated with poetry in mahlas beyits of gazelle and in other poems telling about poetry. Poets, in recent years, have been clearly expressing what they understand from the poetry in their own writings or in the interviews done with them. There are poets who don’t express their opinions about poetry though they deal with and write poem. However, some work toward poems to determine the policy of poet’s poetics has recently stood out from the viewpoint that every poet has his/her own mental understanding. In the present study, we will try to make some determinations about art based on the poems of Şeyhülislam Yahya, who is one of the most important poets of 17th Century.

More specifically, this study aims to evaluate Eskişehir’s foreign trade performance vis-à-vis overall cities in Turkey based on general indicators and foreign trade indices. In addition to the descriptive analysis of Eskişehir’s foreign trade performance in last 10 years, this study also utilizes competitiveness indices such as “revealed comparative advantages”, “extensive and intensive margins” and “dynamic market positioning”. Our analyses are based on city and product. To our knowledge, there is no such comprehensive and detailed foreign trade analysis of Eskişehir in the literature.
