Abstract
Romantik dönemin en önemli besteci ve piyanistlerinden sayılan Polonyalı besteci Frederic Chopin, müziğindeki doğal ve rafine tarzı, lirik melodik stili, zengin polifonik yazısı ve modülasyonları, abartısız rubato kullanımı, özgün melodik yapısı, kromatik dizileri, zarif, sade ve şiirsel müzik anlatımı ile eserlerinde her zaman kendine özgü atmosferi ile tanınmış ve büyük ün yapmış bir bestecidir. Trajediyi, acıyı, mutluluğu, umudu müzik dili ile şairane bir şekilde işleme konusunda döneminin en ünlü bestecilerindendir. Büyük bir yurtsever olan Chopin’in eserlerinde, Polonya halk müziğinin etkileri sıklıkla hissedilmektedir. Gösterişten uzak ama buna karşın çok etkili lirik bir anlatım dili vardır. Bestelerinde disonant tınılara sıklıkla yer vermesi sebebiyle de döneminin besteleme tekniğine bir anlamda yenilik getirmiştir. Yazdığı tüm eserlerinin ağırlıklı olarak Piyano enstrümanı için olması kendisini diğer bestecilerden ayıran önemli bir unsurdur. Bu makalenin amacı “Müziğin Şairi “olarak tanınan Chopin’in büyük ölçekli eserlerinin yanı sıra minimal eserleri üzerinde de uygulamış olduğu başarılı müzik stilini ve besteleme tekniğini tanıtarak genç piyanistlere ışık tutmaktır.

Abstract
Considered one of the most important composers and pianists of the Romantic period, Polish composer Frederic Chopin is a composer who has always been known for his natural and refined style in his music, his lyrical melodic style, his rich polyphonic writing and modulations, his use of understated rubato, his original melodic structure, his chromatic scales, his elegant, simple and poetic musical expression, and the unique atmosphere of his works. He was one of the most famous composers of his time in poetically rendering tragedy, pain, happiness and hope in the language of music. A great patriot, F. Chopin's works are often influenced by Polish folk music. He has a lyrical expression language that is unpretentious yet very effective. Since he frequently used dissonant timbres in his compositions, he brought innovation to the compositional technique of his period. The fact that all of his works are mainly for the piano instrument is an important factor that distinguishes him from other composers. The aim of this article is to shed light on young pianists by introducing the successful musical style and composition technique of Chopin, who is known as the “Poet of Music”, on his large-scale works as well as his minimal works.
