Abstract
Bulaşıcı ve salgın hastalıklar tarihsel süreçler boyunca dünyada milyonlarca insanın ölümüne sebep olmuştur. Türk insanı da bu salgın hastalıklardan etkilenmiş, hem tıbbî amaçlarla hem de toplumsal bilinç oluşturma çabasıyla tedbirler almaya çalışmıştır. Toplumsal bilincin oluşturulmasında ise şüphesiz ülkemizin hemen her köşesinde yer alan camilerde haftada bir defa okunan hutbelerin, geniş bir zaman ve muhteva içermese de İslam toplumuna yönelik yaygın bir din eğitimi faaliyeti olarak yapılıyor olması önemli bir kazanımdır. Hutbeler, camiler sayesinde erişilen geniş kitle düşünülünce cami merkezli din eğitimi yapılmasında önemli unsurlardan biridir. Haftalık cuma ibadetinin önemli bir parçası olan hutbeler, bireylerde tutum ve davranış geliştirici mesajlarıyla önemli bir eğitim-öğretim aracı görevi görür. Bu çalışmada 2020 yılı içerisinde Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığınca yayınlanan hutbeler incelendiğinde başta COVID-19 pandemisi olmak üzere, güncel meseleler, özel gün ve geceler, inanç konuları, ahlâkî unsurlar gibi konuları işlediği görülmüştür. Çalışmada öncelikle İslam tarihinde ve kültüründe yer alan hutbe konusunun tarihçesi ve önemi hakkında bilgi verilmiş ve 2020 yılı içerisinde yayınlanan hutbeler içerdiği konular bakımından incelenerek konularına göre tasnif edilmiştir.

Abstract
Infectious and epidemic diseases have caused the death of millions of people in the world throughout historical processes. Turkish people have also been affected by these epidemics and have tried to take measures both for medical purposes and in an effort to create social awareness. In the creation of social awareness, it is undoubtedly an important achievement that the sermons, which are read once a week in mosques in almost every corner of our country, are carried out as a widespread religious education activity for the Islamic society, even if they do not include a wide time and content. Considering the wide audience reached through mosques, sermons are one of the important elements of mosque-centred religious education. Sermons, which are an important part of the weekly Friday worship, serve as an important education and training tool with their messages that develop attitudes and behaviours in individuals. In this study, when the sermons published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs in 2020 were examined, it was seen that they covered topics such as current issues, special days and nights, faith issues, moral elements, especially the COVID-19 pandemic. In the study, first of all, information was given about the history and importance of the sermon subject in Islamic history and culture, and the sermons published in 2020 were examined in terms of the subjects they contain and classified according to their subjects.
