Abstract
Bu araştırmada 2018 ile 2024 yılları arasında MEB tarafından yapılan LGS sınav sonuçlarına göre ilk yüzdeki okulların başarı sıralamalarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma desenlerinden doküman (belge) incelemesi tekniği kullanılarak desenlenmiş, veriler betimsel analiz tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılından itibaren ortaöğretime devam edecek öğrencileri liselere yerleştirmek için belirli kriterlerin bulunduğu yeni bir sınav sistemine geçmiştir. 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin girebildiği LGS’ de, her öğrencinin bir sınav puanı ve il ve genel yüzdelik dilimi oluşmaktadır. Bu sınav puanına göre öğrenciler tercih yapmaktadır. Araştırma verileri MEB açık kaynaktan temin edilmiştir. Araştırmada 2018 ile 2024 yılları arasında öğrencilerin puanlarıyla tercih ettikleri ve bu puanlarla oluşan ilk 100 sırayı alan liselerin okul türü, bölge dağılımı ve nitelikleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmaya göre LGS yerleştirme puanlarına göre ilk yüz sırada yer alan okulların Anadolu lisesi ağırlıklı olduğu, Anadolu ve fen lisesi haricinde Anadolu imam-hatip liseleri ile kurumlar arsında yapılan protokol ile açılan mesleki ve teknik Anadolu liselerinin de ilk yüz sıralamasında yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. 2018 yılında ilk yüze giren 23 okulun 2024 yılında ilk yüz lise arasında olmadığı, 2018 yılında ilk yüz sıralama listesinde olmayan 23 lisenin 2024 yılında bu listeye girdiği görülmüştür.

Abstract
In this study, it is aimed to examine the success rankings of the top hundred schools according to the LGS exam results conducted by the Ministry of National Education between 2018 and 2024. The research was designed using document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research designs, and the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. Since the 2017-2018 academic year, the Ministry of National Education has introduced a new exam system with certain criteria to place students in high schools. In LGS, which 8th grade students can take, each student has a test score and a provincial and general percentile. Students make preferences according to this exam score. Research data were obtained from MoNE open source. In the research, the school type, regional distribution and qualifications of the high schools preferred by students with their scores and the top 100 ranked high schools between 2018 and 2024 were examined. According to the research, it was determined that the schools ranked in the top 100 according to LGS placement scores are predominantly Anatolian high schools, and in addition to Anatolian and science high schools, Anatolian imam-hatip high schools and vocational and technical Anatolian high schools opened with a protocol between institutions are also included in the top 100. 23 schools that ranked in the top hundred in 2018 were not among the top hundred high schools in 2024, and 23 high schools that were not in the top hundred ranking list in 2018 were included in this list in 2024.
