BAŞKALARI TARAFINDAN UTANDIRILMA KORKUSU ÖLÇEĞİ’NİN TÜRKÇEYE UYARLANMASI: GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı Başkaları Tarafından Utandırılma Korkusu Ölçeği’nin (BUKÖ; Gee, Antony, & Koerner, 2012) Türkçe’ye uyarlamak, geçerlik ve güvenirliğini incelemektir. Araştırma 203 birey üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizinde 10 maddeden oluşan tek boyutlu modelin yeterli uyum verdiği görülmüştür (x²= 76.19, sd= 30, RMSEA= .087, CFI= .95, IFI= .95, SRMR= .051, GFI= .93). Ölçeğin Cronbach alfa iç tutarlık katsayısı .90 olarak bulunmuştur. Bu sonuçlar ölçeğin Türkçe formunun geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu göstermektedir.

Abstract
This study investigated the validity and reliability of the Fear of Embarrassment by Others Scale Turkish Version of (FEOS; Gee, Antony, & Koerner, 2012). The study group consisted of 203 individuals. Results of confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated that ten items loaded on one factor; x²= 76.19, df= 30, RMSEA= .087, CFI= .95, IFI= .95, SRMR= .051 GFI= .93). Internal consistency reliability coefficient was .90. These results demonstrate that the Turkish Version of the Fear of Embarrassment by Others Scale is a valid and reliable instrument.
