5.Sınıf Türkçe Ders Kitaplarındaki Anlamaya Dayalı Etkinliklerin İncelenmesi: 2024 Türkçe Öğretim Programı Kapsamında Bir Analiz

Abstract
Dünyayı anlamak dile vakıf olmayı ve dil becerilerinde gelişkin olmayı gerektirir. Bireylerin tüm becerilerde başarılı olmalarını sağlamanın bir yolu da onları anlamaya dayalı becerileri yüksek bireyler olarak yetiştirmektir. Bu amaçla ülkemizde Türkçe öğretim programları hazırlanmakta ve eğitim öğretim sürecinin temel materyalleri olan ders kitaplarında bu hedefe yönelik çeşitli etkinliklere yer verilmektedir. Bu bağlamda Türkçe öğretiminin ana yazılı kaynakları olan ders kitaplarının niteliği önem arz etmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı 5.sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan anlamaya dayalı etkinlikleri çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelemek ve bu etkinlikleri Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli çerçevesinde yeniden yapılandırılan 2024 Türkçe Öğretim Programı kapsamında analiz etmektir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi durum deseni tercih edilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak doküman kullanılmış ve verilerin analizi betimsel analiz tekniği ile yapılmıştır. Çalışma materyalleri MEB Yayınları tarafından hazırlanan 5. sınıf Türkçe 1. ve 2. ders kitaplarıdır. Çalışma kapsamında ders kitaplarında ilgili bölümlerde yer tespit edilen okuma ve dinleme etkinlikleri, temalara ve programdaki öğrenme çıktılarına dağılım bakımından incelenmiştir. Kitapların Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli kapsamındaki Türkçe Öğretim Programı’nda yer alan dinleme/izleme ve okuma çıktılarını karşıladığı görülmüş; ancak bu beceri alanlarının kitaplardaki sunumunda bazı yönlerden iyileştirme yapılması gerektiği belirlenmiştir. Bu araştırmanın ortaokul 5. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarının okuma ve dinleme etkinlikleri bakımından görünümünün nasıl olduğunu ortaya koyması açısından önemli bir yere sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
Understanding the world requires mastery of language and well-developed language skills. One way to ensure that individuals are successful across all language skills is to educate them as learners with strong comprehension-based abilities. For this purpose, Turkish language curricula are developed in Türkiye, and various activities aligned with this goal are included in textbooks, which constitute the primary instructional materials of the teaching–learning process. In this respect, the quality of textbooks, which are the main written resources of Turkish language education, is of great importance.The aim of this study is to examine the comprehension-based activities included in 5th-grade Turkish language textbooks in terms of various variables and to analyze these activities within the scope of the 2024 Turkish Language Curriculum, which was restructured in line with the Türkiye Century Maarif Model. The study adopts a qualitative research approach and employs a case study design. Document analysis was used as the data collection method, and the data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis technique. The study materials consist of the 5th-grade Turkish Language Textbooks (Books 1 and 2) prepared by the Ministry of National Education. Within the scope of the study, the reading and listening activities identified in the relevant sections of the textbooks were analyzed in terms of their distribution across themes and alignment with the learning outcomes specified in the curriculum. The findings revealed that the textbooks address the listening/viewing and reading outcomes included in the Turkish Language Curriculum developed within the framework of the Türkiye Century Maarif Model; however, it was also determined that improvements are needed in certain aspects of the presentation of these skill areas. It has been determined that this research holds an important place in revealing the state of reading and listening activities in 5th grade Turkish textbooks in middle schools.
