Abstract
Bu araştırmada özel yetenekli öğrencilerin hücre kavram imajlarının araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma 2019-2020 öğretim yılında Ankara ilinde özel yetenekli öğrencilerle öğretim yapan bir bilim ve sanat merkezinde 11-14 yaş grubu 20 özel yetenekli öğrenciyle kendi araştırmacı rehber öğretmenleri tarafından yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri toplama aracı öğrencilere hücre kavramına dair çizim yaptıran ardından da çizimlerini açıklatan çalışma yaprağıdır. Çalışma yapraklarından elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonunda özel yetenekli öğrencilerin hücre imajlarının kısmen yeterli olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu bulgudan yola çıkarak araştırmacılara, program geliştirmecilere ve özel yetenekli biyoloji öğretmenlerine öğrencilerde doğru imaj edindirmeyi ön plana almaya dair bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Abstract
In this research, it was aimed to determine gifted students’ cell images. The research was conducted with 20 gifted students whose age was among 11-14, educating at a science and art center which was a gifted school in Ankara province in 2019-2020 educational year by their researcher teacher. The research’s design was case study as being one of the qualitative designs. Worksheets making gifted students draw and explain the cell concept were used as data collecting tools. Data gathered with the worksheets were analyzed by content analysis. At the end of the research it was found the gifted students’ cell images were properly scientific. So from this finding some suggestions for researchers, program makers and gifted students’ biology teachers could be made on the basis of teaching much more proper scientific concept images.
