TÜRK MİTOLOJİSİNDE YER ALAN MİTOLOJİK UNSUR VE SEMBOLLERİN ŞEVKAT İŞLEGEN’ İN ESERLERİNE YANSIMALARI

Abstract
Mitoloji ve mitler toplumların bellekleridir. Mitolojiler sayesinde toplumların sosyal yaşam, kültür ve inançlarının yeni nesillere aktarımda oldukça önemli bir yere sahiptir. Mitolojide yer alan efsaneler, farklı tiplemelerdeki karakterler ve tanrılar, toplumun dünyaya bakış açısını ve algılama şeklini bizlere sunmaktadır. Sözlü veya yazılı olarak aktarılan bu bilgiler bilinçaltımızda var olarak günümüzde de devam etmektedirler. Sosyal hayatımızda hala etkisini gösteren ve bilinçaltımızda var olan bu mitolojik inançları davranışsal ve içgüdüsel olarak sanatçılar eserlerine yansıtmaktadırlar. Pek çok sanatçımız eserlerinde bu mitolojik kavramları kendi yorumlarını katarak sentezlemişlerdir. Şefkat İşlegen de resimlerinde mitolojik unsurları kullanmış başarılı sanatçılarımızdan biridir. Bu makalede sanatçının eserlerinde kullandığı figür ve renklerin Türk Mitolojisindeki anlamları ve Türk toplumundaki yerleri ile eserlerine yansımaları değerlendirilecektir.

Abstract
Mythology and myths are the memory of societies. Mythology has an important place in transfusing the social lives, cultures, faiths of the society to the new generations. The legends, different types of characters and gods in mythology provide us the way of society perceptions and point of views to the World. The information transmitted either in oral or written form continues to exist in our subconscious today. Many of our artists have used these mythological concepts in their works. Şefkat İşlegen is one of our successful artists who, used mythological elements in her paintings and included them in her works. The figures and colours she used in her works, their meaning in Turkish mythology, the places where they settled in Turkish society, and we will try to examine based on the reflections of our artist's works.
