Abstract
İletişim, insanın kendi duygu ve düşünceleri yanında çeşitli gereksinimlerini anlatma ve aynı zamanda da başkalarını anlama yolundaki en etkili enstrümanlardan birisidir. Bu yüzden insanoğlu hangi koşulda olursa olsun kendini ifade için daima bir yol bulmuştur. Yaşadığı her anı, her durum ve şartta sanatla bir iletişim kurarak toplumda göstermek ihtiyacını da hissetmiştir. Bu iletişim süreci içinde insanın kendini gözlemleme ve tanıma deneyimlerini çoğaldıkça, el becerileri ve iletişim dilini de kullanışı zenginleşmiştir. Dolayısıyla iletişim sanatla beraber insanın duygu ve düşüncesinde şekillenen her şeyin gelişmesine katkı sağlayan ve onu besleyen önemli bir kaynak olmuştur. Bu sayede her toplumda sanatçılar da çeşitli iletişim araçlarını kullanarak geleneklerini ve kültürel kimliklerini hem korumuş hem de kendi düşünce ve değerleri de yaygınlaştırma imkanını sahip olmuşlardır. Bu makalede Nedret Sekban’ın eserlerinde kullandığı figür ve renkler nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan literatür tarama ve eser analizi ile detaylı bir şekilde değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract
Communication is one of the most effective instruments in the way of expressing various needs of people amongst their own feelings and thoughts and at the same time understanding others. Therefore, human beings have always found a way to express themselves under any circumstances. At the same time, he felt the need to show every moment he lived in society by communicating with art under any condition or situation.. Under this communication process, the use of hand skills and communication language has also been enriched as the experience of human self-observation and recognition increases in the communication process. Therefore, communication has become a significant source nourishing and contributing development of everything that shaped on human emotions and thoughts. In this way, artists in every society have both preserved their traditions and cultural identities by using various communication tools and also had the opportunity to spread their own thoughts and values. In this article, figures and colors that Nedret Sekban used on his artworks evaluated in detail through some of the qualitative research techniques, literature scanning and artwork analysis.
