Çocuk Hakları ve Eğitimi Dersinin Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Çocuk Haklarına İlişkin Tutumlarına Etkisi

Abstract
Araştırma Çocuk Hakları ve Eğitimi” dersinin üniversite öğrencilerinin çocuk haklarına ilişkin tutumlarına etkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma grubunu Çocuk Gelişimi bölümü 2. Sınıf örgün öğretim ve ikinci öğretim öğrencilerinden seçkisiz örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenen toplam 101 kişi oluşturmuştur. Çalışma öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneme modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Model gereğince, deney/kontrol grupları belirlenmiş; her iki grup için Kahraman Kepenekçi’nin 2006 yılında geliştirdiği “Çocuk Haklarına İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği (ÇHTÖ)” kullanılmıştır. Deney grubundaki çocuklara 14 hafta süresince Çocuk Hakları ve Eğitimi dersi verilmiştir. Eğitimin ardından deney ve kontrol gruplarına eğitim öncesi uygulanan ölçme aracı son test olarak tekrar uygulanmış, veriler analiz edilerek değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre oluşturulan deney/ kontrol gruplarının üniversite çocuk haklarına ilişkin tutum ölçeğinden aldıkları öntest puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı düzeyde bir farklılık olmadığı belirlenmiştir (p<.05). Çocuk haklarına ilişkin Çocuk Hakları ve Eğitimi ders uygulamasından sonra deney ve kontrol gruplarının çocuk haklarına ilişkin tutum ölçeğinden aldıkları sontest puan ortalamaları arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı düzeyde farklılık bulunmuştur (p˂.05).

The research was conducted to examine the effect of the "Children's Rights and Education" course on the attitudes of university students towards children's rights. The study group consists of a total of 101 students from the Department of Child Development, 2nd grade formal education and secondary education. The study was carried out in the experimental model with pretest-posttest control group. According to the model, experimental and control groups were determined; For both groups, the " Children's Rights Attitude Scale (ÇHTÖ)" developed by Kahraman Kepenekçi in 2006 was applied. Children in the experimental group were given Child Rights and Education course for 14 weeks. After the training, the measurement tool applied to the experimental and control groups before the training was applied again as a post-test, and the data were analyzed and evaluated. According to the results of the research, it was determined that there was no significant difference between the pretest mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the attitude scale towards children's rights at the university (p<.05). After the Child Rights and Education course on children's rights, there was a significant difference in favor of the experimental group between the posttest mean scores of the experimental and control groups from the attitude scale towards children's rights (p˂.05).
