Abstract
Soyut Sanat, 1900’lerin başı yani Modernizm’den başlayarak günümüze kadar gelebilmiş bir sanatsal ifade yöntemidir. Bilindiği üzere Soyut Sanat’ın asıl amacı duyguların dış dünyanın gerçekliğinden bağımsız bir şekilde yüzeyde ifade edilmesidir. Sanatçılar özgün olabilme noktasında kendileri ile özdeşleşen biçim ve renk kullanma yöntemleri sayesinde iç dünyalarına yaptıkları yolculuğu ve keşfettiklerini dışarıya aktarabilme imkânına sahip olmuşlardır. Bu farklılık arayışının bir devrin kapanıp diğerinin açılması ve gelişmesine önemli katkıları olmuştur. Bu makalenin amacı resimde soyut ifade yöntemlerinin günümüzde geliştirilen yeni teknikler ve malzeme çeşitliliği doğrultusunda hangi noktalara gelebildiğini araştırmaktır. Soyuta hem biçim hem de içerik bakımından yeni yaklaşımlar sunan Paulina Cerda, Henri Wagner, Alex Kuznetsov, Justin N. Kim, Diane Burko, Nat Bowen, Aythamy Armas, Erin Newell Bird, Mathieu St-Pierre, Sabato Visconti ve Refik Anadol’un çalışmaları incelenerek konuya açıklık getirilmeye çalışılacaktır.

Abstract Art is a method of artistic expression that has survived to the present day since it began to take shape with Modernism in the early 1900s. As it is known, the main purpose of Abstract Art is to express emotions on the surface independently of the reality of the outside world. Artists have had the opportunity to convey their journey to their inner world and what they have discovered, thanks to the methods of using form and color that are identified with them at the point of being original. This search for difference has made important contributions to the closing of one era and the opening and development of another. The aim of this article is to investigate the extent to which abstract expression methods in painting can reach in line with the new techniques and material diversity developed today. The works of Paulina Cerda, Henri Wagner, Alex Kuznetsov, Justin N. Kim, Diane Burko, Nat Bowen, Aythamy Armas, Erin Newell Bird, Mathieu St-Pierre, Sabato Visconti and Refik Anadol who offer new approaches to abstraction in terms of both form and content, are examined and the subject is clarified will be brought in.
