Abstract
Bu araştırma pedagojik formasyon eğitimi sertifika programının ihtiyaçlarının ve var olan durumunun öğrenci görüşleri alınarak swot analizi kapsamında değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırma 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Mersin Üniversitesinde eğitim alan 150 pedagojik formasyon programı öğrencisinin katılımıyla gerçekleşmiştir. Nitel araştırma yöntemiyle yürütülen çalışmada model olarak temel nitel araştırma benimsenmiştir. Araştırma verileri grup tartışması tekniği ile elde edilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak yapılandırılmış açık uçlu anket formu ve swot analizi formu kullanılmış ve formlar fiziksel olarak toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Bulgulara göre öğrencilerin programın güçlü yönleri olarak öne çıkan görüşlerin ‘’mesleki gelişim, kişisel gelişim ve staj uygulaması’’ olduğu, zayıf yönleri olarak öne çıkan görüşlerin ise ‘’ders dönem süresinin az olması ve fakülte binasında ihtiyaçların karşılanamaması’’ olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Programın fırsatları olarak ‘’iş bulma ve atanma fırsatının’’ , tehdit unsurları olarak ise ‘’atanamama olasılığını’’ belirttikleri görülmüştür. Programa yönelik eleştirilerde ‘’programın ücretli olması ve öğrenci işleriyle iletişim problemleri’’ , programı iyileştirmeye yönelik önerilerde ise ‘’programın ücretsiz olması ve her şehirde staj imkanı olması’’ görüşlerinin yer aldığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular sayesinde programın var olan durumu ortaya çıkmış ve ihtiyaçları belirlenmiştir. Böylece çalışma programın güçlü yönleri, zayıf yönleri, fırsatları ve tehditlerine uygun stratejiler geliştirilmesine olanak sağlayacaktır.

Abstract
This research is the evaluation of the needs and current status of the pedagogical formation education certificate program within the scope of SWOT analysis by taking student opinions. The research was carried out with the participation of 150 pedagogical formation program students studying at Mersin University in the 2021-2022 academic year. In the study conducted with the qualitative research method, basic qualitative research was adopted as a model. Research data were obtained by group discussion technique. A structured open-ended questionnaire and SWOT analysis form were used as data collection tools and the forms were physically collected. The obtained data were subjected to content analysis. According to the findings, it was determined that the opinions that stand out as the strengths of the program are "professional development, personal development and internship practice", and the opinions that stand out as the weaknesses are "the short duration of the course and the inability to meet the needs in the faculty building". . It was observed that they stated "the opportunity to find a job and be appointed" as the opportunities of the program, and "the probability of not being appointed" as the threat elements. It has been revealed that the criticisms about the program include "the program is paid and communication problems with student affairs", and the suggestions for improving the program include "the program is free of charge and there is an internship opportunity in every city". Thanks to the findings obtained as a result of the research, the current status of the program was revealed and its needs were determined. Thus, the study will enable the development of strategies appropriate to the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the program.
