Abstract
Görsel yolla anlam inşa eden bir kültür nesnesi olarak sanat yapıtı, görsel birer gösterge olması yönüyle göstergebilimin inceleme alanına dahil edilmektedir. Sanat yapıtı bağlamında anlamın inşa edilmesinde kullanılan dil, alışılagelmişin dışında olması noktasında bir üstdil niteliği taşır. Sanatçı açısından biçim ve içerik yönüyle giderek öznelleşen ifade biçimleri, anlamsal boyutta çok yönlü ve daha derin göstergeleri ihtiva eder. Dil dışı göstergeler kapsamında yer alan görsel göstergeler, dilsel göstergelerden daha farklı düzeyde anlam katmanları oluşturur ve çözümleme noktasında daha öznel bir okuma edimi söz konusudur. Bu bağlamda göstergebilimi sanatsal imgeler açısından anlam üretimi sürecinde bir yöntem olarak ele almak söz konusudur. Farklı çözümleme yöntemlerinin yanı sıra sanat yapıtı üzerinden göstergelerin anlamlandırılabilmesi, göstergebilimi söz konusu alana katkı sağlayan önemli ve bilimsel bir çözümleme yöntemi kılar.

Abstract
As a cultural object that constructs meaning visually, the work of art is included in the field of study of semiotics in terms of being a visual indicator. The language used in the construction of meaning in the context of a work of art is a metalanguage in terms of being out of the ordinary. The forms of expression, which become increasingly subjective in terms of form and content for the artist, contain versatile and deeper indicators in the semantic dimension. Visual indicators, which are included in the non-linguistic indicators, form different levels of meaning than linguistic indicators, and there is a more subjective reading act at the point of analysis. In this context, it is possible to consider semiotics as a method in the process of meaning production in terms of artistic images. In addition to different analysis methods, the ability to make sense of the signs through the work of art makes semiotics an important and scientific analysis method that contributes to the field in question.
