Today's world becomes more media oriented than ever. Specially, opportunities that provided by new media has been transformed the issues of introduction, representation and perception into structural facts. In this context, it is seen that the importance and functionality of video films are increased in terms of both educational material and elements of introduction and representation. Prepared video films are published and watched via university websites and social media such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube by millions of users. In this study, mobility element as an attention-grabbing method applied on introductory films of university is considered. The sample of the study is limited with the best 10 university introductory films according to the 2018 ARWU statistics. Universities’ official introductory films of university are analyzed regarding mobility elements by examining shooting and editing techniques. Selected videos were analyzed by document analysis method based on the criteria included in the observation form. The videos examined in the sample are analyzed regarding both shooting i.e. scale, camera angle and camera movement elements, and editing i.e. adding element, effects and music elements.
