In recent years, developments in information and communication technologies have been reflected in every aspect of life, while information centers and libraries have been affected by these developments. The developments have made it possible for the information centers and libraries to provide a structure that emphasizes the user-centered activities that bring the individual to the center while producing services. Information centers and libraries support the services they offer with new approaches and practices. At this point, it is very important to measure the success of the activities carried out in the information centers and libraries, to follow the development of services and to determine whether the planned target can be realized or not. In today's most successful institutions, quality management principles are applied. The implementation of Quality Management applications in information centers and libraries, which serve as a bridge between the information and the user, is undoubtedly very important. In our study, the importance of quality management practices carried out in information centers and libraries was mentioned. In addition, quality applications, quality documents and annual activity plan of Balıkesir University Central Library were evaluated.
