POLYPHONIC USAGE OF BAGLAMA AS A ACCOMPANIER INSTRUMENT IN THE PRIMARY MUSIC EDUCATION BAĞLAMANIN İLKÖĞRETİM MÜZİK EĞİTİMİNDE BİR EŞLİK ÇALGISI OLARAK ÇOKSESLİ KULLANIMI
In primary music education constituting the fundamental of general music education and being one of the most important elements of it, various instruments are used as electronic organ, piano, recorder, guitar, orff instruments, mandolin and baglama. Commonly used by music instructors and accepted as the fundamental instrument of the Turkish Folk Music the baglama differs from the other instruments having the mission of “transmitting the culture to the future generations” which is music's one of the basic functions. The point of research origin stems from this question “On the basis of the polyphonic structure of the baglama, could there be any contribution to the polyphonic music education in the direction of the principle - environment to the universe, near from the far?” In this research, it has been mentioned the place of the baglama in the music instructor training programme and primary music education,by taking into consideration “functions/missions of the instruments” and the structure of the baglama it has been examined how suitable it is as a accompanier instrument in polyphonic music.
