In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between superstition levels of university students and their religious orientation and happiness levels. Survey model and questionnaire technique were used in this research. The study group composed of 434 freshman and senior year students whom are selected with universal sampling method from Çanakkale 18 Mart university faculty of theology and medical faculty.In the research as a data collection tools, “New Age Beliefs Scale”, “Religious Tendency Scale” and “Oxfords Happiness Scale” were used. “New Age Beliefs Scale” was used in order to measure the superstition levels. “Religious Tendency Scale” was used to measure intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity levels. “Oxfords Happiness Scale” was used to measure happiness levels. Independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance (anova) and correlation analysis were used for resulting survey data. As the result of study, it was determined that there were positively and significance level between superstitious beliefs (New Age Beliefs) and all dimensions of it, intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity tendencies with happiness levels. Once again, it was seen that there were positive and meaningful relations between general superstition levels and all aspects of superstitions with intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity.
