In this study, it is aimed to investigate the effects of the teaching materials brought by studentsto the visual arts class in secondary schools on teacher motivation.Among the qualitatitive research methods, semi-structured interview was used in the research. The study was carried out with 15 volunteered visual arts teachers who work in the secondaryschools of İpekyolu and Tuşba districts of Van. In the research, teachers' opinions about the relationship between teacher motivation and the provision of lesson tools to the visual arts class by students were taken. As a result of the research, it is seen that provision of the course materials by students is in a direct proportion with teacher motivation. Since the visual arts course is an applied lesson, it is necessary to use course tools in order to make practical studies during the courses. It is seen that the students who bring the course materials themselves are active in the class, and this has a positive effect on teacher motivation.
